FLORIADE - A CELEBRATION OF COLOUR

Springtime  in Canberra is celebrated by Floriade, an annual event held on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin.  The planning and planting of bulbs mostly tulips, starts many months before the opening.

These are several photographs which I took at Floriade on the first weekend in October, 1997.
